BRISK/BRISK-RU Final Conference was held on 8 December 2011 in Marina Congress Center, Helsinki, Finland.
The main aims of the Conference were to share and discuss the Project activities and achievements in improving the preparedness for major spills of oil and hazardous substances.
More specifically, the Conference
provided an opportunity to hear about the results of the risk assessment
reflected on how to learn about the needs and plans to further build up response resources and enhance sub-regional co-operation
discussed sub-regional plans to improve response capabilities in the Baltic Sea
shared best practices in cooperation across Europe, and in building adequate response capacities between the regional seas
